Abstract

Let p1 ≡ p2 ≡ 5 be different primes. Put (formula presented) and, then the bicyclic biquadratic field (formula presented) has an elementary abelian 2-class group of rank 3. In this paper we determine the nilpotency class, the coclass, the generators and the structure of the non-abelian Galois group Gal (formula presented) of the second Hilbert 2-class field. (formula presented) We study the capitulation problem of the 2-classes of K and in its seven unramified bicyclic biquadratic extensions Li © 2014, Mathematisches Seminar der Universität Hamburg and Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
