Abstract

This study aims to present a contribution to sharing and reuse water data in Morocco through web services (SOA) and spatial data infrastructure (SDI). In same way, we clarify the need for national standardization of water data exchange in order to build a National Water Information System (NWIS) in Morocco. This approach uses a prototype based on geospatial web services and open source modules, in order to facilitate the assessment of “Filling level of large dams in Morocco” indicator. © Springer International Publishing Switzerland 2016.
