Abstract

The Work presented in this paper concerns the optimization of the performance of a photovoltaic system with MPPT controller, Specifically, we present and we analyze the simulation of electrical operation of a photovoltaic (PV) system adapted by a numerical control (MPPT control) based on a PIC microcontroller that will ensure the continuation of the maximum power output of the Photovoltaic generator whatever the metrological conditions. The results show that the well designed PV system converges after a time of about 60 ms to the optimum conditions regardless of weather conditions and variation of the load. The proper functioning of BOOST converter (94 efficiency) allowed us to conclude proper operation and satisfactory performance of PV systems performed during this work. © 2015 IEEE.
