The map of the residual magnetic field of the central Middle Atlas (Morocco) shows significant anomalies focused on different emissive structures of Plio-Quaternary volcanism. The different types of mathematical filters applied to the reduced magnetic field in the central Middle Atlas, in particular the Tilt Derivative and Euler deconvolution indicate a clear separation between surface anomalies and those with deep origin related to magmatic bodies. These various treatments made possible to establish cartography of the various magmatic sources at the origin of the magnetic anomalies, their installation levels as well as their mode of occurrence. Simple or complex circumscribed forms are implemented on a superficial level (1 km) in local areas opening induced remobilization of sinistral strike-slip faults in general tectonic compression setting. Laccolitic forms are deeper and staggered (> 1 km). They are linked to the incursion of magma in the separation zones opened by extensional faulting and/or original karst galleries.
