Abstract

The aim is to consider the problem of the gradient reconstruction in a subregion located in the boundary of the evolution domain of a parabolic system. A reconstruction method is then presented, which is based on internal regional gradient observability techniques. The performance of the developed approach is successfully tested through computer simulations. © 2003, Taylor & Francis Group, LLC. All rights reserved.
