The present paper shows the thermal performance of SWHS (solar water heater system) by studying the influence of insulation of transfer circuit on the overall yield of the SWH in Rabat, Morocco. A SWHS, which works with a 2m2 PFC, and which is equipped with available forced circulation scale system fitted with an automated sub-system that controlled hot water, is what the experimental setup consisted of. The system, which 100 heated water by only using solar energy, was tested over six days. The six days were divided to three days in May without insulation, and Three days in December with insulation. For both sections, the results of system efficiency varied between 17 to 25, and 30 to 45 respectively. Approximately, 50 of efficiency of the SWHS was gained when the insulation was used. © 2016 IEEE.
