Abstract

The purpose of the system described in this paper is to provide a means of monitoring and remote control by Smartphone of several parameters of an experimental greenhouse, like indoor temperature, hygrometry, atmospheric pressure, and so on, via the social network TELEGRAM, through a Wi-Fi internet connection or a mobile telephony (3G or 4G). It's also possible to order actuators like fans, pumps, solenoid valves, etc 3 4. The studied system facilitates the daily control and monitoring of the mentioned parameters whose importance is crucial for a good greenhouse management, and expands the number of managers or people who can follow information from afar. This system is therefore a collective management tool with human dialogue and human-machine interaction. © 2019 Association for Computing Machinery.
