Abstract

The study of stratigraphie distribution and frequency of the main "microproblematic" species in several sections from Prerif and Mesorif areas, dated by ammonites or calpionellids, leads to a new "microproblematic" biozonation for the Lower Kimmeridgian-Upper Berriasian interval. Thus, sixteen zones and twelve subzones have been defined and correlated with calpionellid and ammonite standard scales. These zones have generally a biostratigraphic value in the Tethyian domain. © Académie des Sciences.
